About the project.
This project involves the addition of an 8,000-SF Library Media Center that will connect the lower school to the middle school, as well as renovations and improvements to the school campus, playground, sports areas, faculty and visitor parking, and new perimeter fencing.
This is a Design-Build Project led by HESS Construction (HESS) and Cox Graae Spack Architects (CGS). Honoring the architectural esthetics of Old Town Alexandria and the School’s 152-year history BarnesVanze Architects designed the addition and renovations to blend seamlessly with the existing buildings and campus. HESS will be overseeing and managing all construction activities.
